The Israeli Coalition for Trauma
Establishing spaces for strengthening and healing the residents of the south who were evacuated to the Dead Sea and the care teams, through formulating a dedicated and original plan for activity in hotels, adapting it according to different types of populations and running it with over 250 experiential resilience workshops.
the goal
The establishment of an experiential system (starting on October 7) to strengthen resilience resources as a complementary response to the clinical treatment for evacuees in Dead Sea hotels.
the experience
The heart resources unit - guidance and service teams that operated over 250 experiential workshops from the worlds of the body and soul in a variety of hotels in the Dead Sea with an emphasis on developing resilience through the regulation of the body and thoughts, creating routines of experiences on fixed days and hours and creating anchors for evacuees in a chaotic reality. Creating connections and collaborations with the communities themselves, the Association for Community Centers and the "Hashahar - Hossan Yildinou" center, in favor of continuing the routines after the end of the unit's operation period.
moved us the most
Identify the need and provide experiences of resiliency also for the care teams who needed charging time for their cardiac resources.
